Rail’s rollout continues, and ASEI Arts is pleased to share two new milestones in the release of the third book in the Amalia Sengupta Erenwine series by Maia Kumari Bree Chowdhury.
First: the ebook edition of Rail: A High Speed Adventure is now live on Amazon.ca for Canadian readers. This marks an important moment in the trilogy’s journey, as much of the creative and professional work behind the series has roots in British Columbia. The link currently works more effectively on non-Google web browsers, while Amazon continues its rollout.
Second: paperback pre‑sales are now open worldwide. Readers in any country can place an early order, with shipping beginning as soon as the print edition is released at the end of July. This option is available through any book retailer by providing the book title and author name for preorder, or by visiting Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Other retailers are being added daily, so check back in with your favorite.
For those curious about how presales support independent publishing, Maia recently wrote about this phase of the rollout on Medium. Her piece outlines ten ways early orders help strengthen visibility, support algorithms, stabilize launch week, and contribute to long‑tail discoverability — all essential elements for small presses and indie authors. The Erenwine Trilogy blends love, mystery, and adventure with the intersections of design, ethics, and the systems that shape everyday life. Each novel stands alone or can be read as part of the full arc, tracing Amalia’s journey from architectural intern to registered architect.
